Jordyn and Josh had planned a really fun wedding in Keystone, Colorado. After I discovered they were huge Star Wars fans, I called my wife and asked her to bring some of our lightsabers over to Keystone for some photos.

Like me, Nick and Jen are from the suburbs of Chicago. And also like me they fell in love with the beauty of Breckenridge, Colorado. So it was really no surprise that when it came to deciding where to get married, they picked Breckenridge and invited their friends and family to join them.
Holly and Brent planned a Breckenridge destination wedding from their home in Mississippi. They picked a date in October, that can be a bit risky for weather in the mountains. Everything worked out perfectly. A snowstorm a few days earlier meant the peaks would be covered in snow, but it was still warm and sunny in the valley. Before the wedding we did wedding portraits at Officer’s Gulch. It is one of my all time favorite places to take couples for photos in Summit County. It’s only about a 20 minute driver from Breckenridge, and features parking a short walk to a small lake and creek surrounded by beautiful mountains.
